Hong Kong Senior Professional Golfers Association, HKSeniorPGA or HKSPGA, was registered on 16th Mar 2006 as an unlimited company and established on 20th Dec 2006 at The Royal Hong Kong Golf Club. Founders include Mr. Lai Wai Che (Chairman), Mr. Pater Tang (Vice Chairman), Mr. Yau Sui Ming (Vice Chairman), Mr. Lai Wai Sing Martin (Committee Member), Mr. Man Mi Sang (Committee Member), Mr. Sung Yau Fuk (Committee Member), Mr. Anthony Yuen (Committee Member) [by position and alphabetical order of surname]. HKSPGA was renamed as Hong Kong Senior Professional Golfers Association Limited (HKSPGA Ltd) in Mar 2010. HKSPGA Ltd. is a non-profit making organization registered under the Companies Ordinance of HKSAR.

Unlike other golf clubs, HKSPGA is an independent association and not a subsidiary of any other golf club. Members of HKSPGA comprise professional coaches from 9 different countries or regions, including Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, UK, USA, Australia, Malaysia and Canada. HKSPGA was established as a platform for organizing and sharing among professional senior golfers from all over the world. With its experienced members, HKSPGA aims at promoting golf in Hong Kong and China and orchestrating an internationally recognized golf competition for professionals.

HKSPGA sends teams representing Hong Kong to join Senior PGA Tours in Europe and Asia. The Association dedicates its resources and experience to the development of senior professional golf in Asia and the advancement of the professional standard of golf players. Senior PGA Tour has been held in different countries, we hope China and Hong Kong will catch up soon.

We recruits well conducted and skillful golfers to join us. Examinations are organized for professional golfers and coaches. The examinations follow R&A and Taiwan Golf Rules to ensure fairness and transparency.

There are two membership grades for HKSPGA, Full Member and Honorary Member. As of Jan 2011, there were 47 full members and 7 honorary members. Accumulated number of members was 62.
